On 21 July the Šiauliai Big Band (artistic director and conductor R. Ašmanis) will travel to Latvia. There, together with soloist Cécile Verny, the ensemble will present a concert programme at the Saulkrasti Jazz Festival at 8 pm.
The Saulkrasti International Jazz Festival is well known to those interested in jazz music and musicians not only in Latvia, but also abroad, and has established itself in the minds of its target audience as a festival with high quality criteria. The festival has been held annually in July since 1997 and, as always, offers concerts by great jazz musicians. The festival will take place for three days, from 20 to 22 July, at the Saulkrasti Stage.
